(The inspiration for this picture was a photograph taken from inside the truck at the Kerrville Wild Animal Park in Kerrville, Texas.  Immediately after getting this great close-up photograph, this "sweet looking" bird reached into the window, through the driver side of the Blazer all the way into the passenger seat... I was afraid it was going to peck my eyes out!  Luckily he wasn't hungry for eyeballs that day, and since I lived to draw the picture, you can guess the outcome!)

(The inspiration for this picture was a photograph taken from inside the truck, the same day as the ostrich.  If you look closely in the middle right of the picture, you will see the side view mirror of the vehicle, hence the name of the drawing.  It didn't show well in the image scan.)
