FADEN QUARTZ CRYSTAL
FADEN QUARTZ CRYSTAL
A crystal in which the inclusion of one or more white thread-like fibrous formations occurs. The Faden is visible within the quartz structure because it is surrounded by either a fluid filled or gaseous chamber. The fiber is located usually at or in proximity to the center of the crystal, perpendicular to the termination of the crystal and may be linear and undeviating or curved/bent.

I usually only see them in very thin tabby crystals, and usually in tabby clusters like this one (stacked tabbys).  Occasionally I see them in single points, but more often than not, in crystals like this one.  But that's just what I have found in the crystals *I* have.

It is a crystal of connection, stimulating and furthering connective forces between the self and that which is chosen as the recipient. It is also a stone for astral travel.*

*most of the descriptions on this page came from excerpts from Melody's Love is in the Earth series and several other books found on the reference books page... take a look!

Some of the references came from several other books, too many to mention, (also found on the reference pages)

Other descriptions were from the years of experience of my working with the crystals (I am beginning to think I am channeling part of this information from somewhere (I don't know how this works), as some of my thoughts and answers to your questions and to descriptions come to me in a very strong Latino accent.)  ??  hmmm

If you feel compelled to use these descriptions, please e-mail me, I am happy to share, but I like to know where my hard work is going to show up, and if you are unable to do this, please post credits.  I appreciate it.

If you don't have Melody's books yet, they are very reasonably priced and DEFINITELY worth the investment!  They are all excellent books!  A must have for any library!  I refer to them almost daily.

The best way to learn about the crystals is to meditate and experience them for yourself, I think each person will get what they need from each crystal, depending on what that particular crystal needs to communicate to you at the time.  I think the descriptions should be used as a general guide to describe the configurations to lead you in a direction, not as a hard and fast rule.  This is my opinion, however.  Happy learning!    Genn    :)
