IMPRINT QUARTZ CRYSTAL
CRYSTAL IMPRINTS
Imprints left on the surfaces or facets of a crystal, where they grew in close proximity to another crystal. I haven't found reference to these marks in any crystal book, but have developed my own idea as to what they signify.  [I made this up, too] I believe that crystals with imprints show how something is affected by outside influences, thereby changing the shape or form of the original structure, but the original structure adapts to its environment to allow for growth and change, while still maintaining its basic inherent truth and beauty. *

The crystal to the left is an overcoat crystal. The imprints were easiest to see in a photograph on it due to the overcoat layer being replaced by the imprint.  Imprinted crystals aren't necessarily this color.  They are on all crystal types.

*****************************************************************************
*most of the descriptions on this page came from excerpts from Melody's Love is in the Earth series and several other books found on the reference books page... take a look!

Some of the references came from several other books, too many to mention, (also found on the reference pages)

Other descriptions were from the years of experience of my working with the crystals (I am beginning to think I am channeling part of this information from somewhere (I don't know how this works), as some of my thoughts and answers to your questions and to descriptions come to me in a very strong Latino accent.)  ??  hmmm

If you feel compelled to use these descriptions, please e-mail me, I am happy to share, but I like to know where my hard work is going to show up, and if you are unable to do this, please post credits.  I appreciate it.

If you don't have Melody's books yet, they are very reasonably priced and DEFINITELY worth the investment!  They are all excellent books!  A must have for any library!  I refer to them almost daily.

The best way to learn about the crystals is to meditate and experience them for yourself, I think each person will get what they need from each crystal, depending on what that particular crystal needs to communicate to you at the time.  I think the descriptions should be used as a general guide to describe the configurations to lead you in a direction, not as a hard and fast rule.  This is my opinion, however.  Happy learning!    Genn    :)
