CRYSTAL INCLUSIONS
When one is attracted to and uses included quartz, the quartz inclusion will work with the person to provide the further nourishment and qualities required.  Usually the chlorite and hematite included quartz provide the most powerful healing-type of included quartz.*

I was told by a mine owner early on in my digging "career" that most of the inclusions in the crystal from the mines I gather crystal from are Manganese inclusions.  However, since then, I have read that a lot of the inclusions in the crystal in the Ouachitas may in fact be SLATE.  (Reading books about geology and geological topography in the Arkansas region, mineralogical deposits and such).  With that having been said, I haven't found "Slate" listed in a book (such as Melody's, but I think slate is a form of Chert.   These are just educated guesses.  Take them for what they are... not facts or definites.  If you are reading this and know something different, write and tell me!  I love to learn!!
Melody lists Chert as a form of Chalcedony (pronounced Cal-Sidney) which resembles flint but more brittle.  Can be used to provide stability and to assist in remembering (daily issuse or to "look back"  to the past or the past lives, or to help find lost items.  This is for Chert, keep in mind.

CHLORITE INCLUDED: (right)  Chlorite is one of the most favorable healing stones.  Worn, carried, placed within ones environment, or used as an elixir, the properties of chlorite are overwhelmingly positive.  It attacks anger, hostility, and exasperation, and dissipates the dissenting energy. *

Other descriptions were from the years of experience of my working with the crystals (I am beginning to think I am channeling part of this information from somewhere (I don't know how this works), as some of my thoughts and answers to your questions and to descriptions come to me in a very strong Latino accent.)  ??  hmmm

If you don't have Melody's books yet, they are very reasonably priced and DEFINITELY worth the investment!  They are all excellent books!  A must have for any library!  I refer to them almost daily.

The best way to learn about the crystals is to meditate and experience them for yourself, I think each person will get what they need from each crystal, depending on what that particular crystal needs to communicate to you at the time.  I think the descriptions should be used as a general guide to describe the configurations to lead you in a direction, not as a hard and fast rule.  This is my opinion, however.  Happy learning!    Genn    :)
