PHANTOM QUARTZ CRYSTAL

PHANTOM QUARTZ CRYSTAL
PHANTOM QUARTZ CRYSTAL
The Phantom crystal is comprised of a white or colored material (dark gray in the case of all the phantoms I have found at the mines I go to, again, I understand most of the dark colored sediment here is attribured to slate) and may be partial or complete.

Phantoms are made when, duing the creation of the crystal, while it is in the solution, say the "water" that it's in becomes
infused with another mineral (whatever the phantom is: chlorite, manganese, hematite, the list is as endless as the number of minerals)... and so the sediment settles over the formed crystal, then a layer of clear crystal continues to form the remainder of the crystal.  Depending on the amount of sediment, and the length of time, and the amount of clear crystal over it, all determines the outcome.  (For instance, the crystal to the left had several layers of sediment come by during the life of that crystal.*

*****************************************************************************
*most of the descriptions on this page came from excerpts from Melody's Love is in the Earth series and several other books found on the reference books page... take a look!

Some of the references came from several other books, too many to mention, (also found on the reference pages)

Other descriptions were from the years of experience of my working with the crystals (I am beginning to think I am channeling part of this information from somewhere (I don't know how this works), as some of my thoughts and answers to your questions and to descriptions come to me in a very strong Latino accent.)  ??  hmmm

If you feel compelled to use these descriptions, please e-mail me, I am happy to share, but I like to know where my hard work is going to show up, and if you are unable to do this, please post credits.  I appreciate it.

If you don't have Melody's books yet, they are very reasonably priced and DEFINITELY worth the investment!  They are all excellent books!  A must have for any library!  I refer to them almost daily.

The best way to learn about the crystals is to meditate and experience them for yourself, I think each person will get what they need from each crystal, depending on what that particular crystal needs to communicate to you at the time.  I think the descriptions should be used as a general guide to describe the configurations to lead you in a direction, not as a hard and fast rule.  This is my opinion, however.  Happy learning!    Genn    :)
